Account and security

Do I need an Ankama account to use Togu?

A Togu game account is separate from an Ankama account. Never enter your Ankama credentials on the Togu website or launcher.

Accounts are handled by the Togu service, separate from Ankama's services. Only follow the steps shown on the Togu account pages.

Game

Is Togu an official Ankama service?

No. Togu is a private server, not affiliated with Ankama. The Dofus name is used to identify the game concerned and does not mean Ankama endorses Togu.

Does the client version guarantee the same game rules?

No. A client number alone does not establish a service's rules or content. Check the published information and its sources rather than assuming they are identical.

Read the method for comparing offers
Where can I compare public information about projects?

Togu comparisons describe shared criteria, date their sources and flag information that remains unknown; they do not automatically name a winner.

Status

Where can I check the status of the Togu world?

Check the status page, which shows the published state of the world. If the page is unavailable, that does not mean the world is open.

Check the world status
What does an unavailable status mean?

It means the state could not be determined from the available public information. It confirms neither that the world is open nor that it is closed.

Does a missing counter mean there are zero players?

No. A number is only shown if the status source provides it; if it is missing, this page does not establish the player count.

How do I know if maintenance is over?

Check the public status and Togu announcements. An old announcement or an unavailable state does not confirm that maintenance has ended.
